Day 1
Depart Auckland and travel to Rotorua. Spend the afternoon exploring Rotorua or taking part in optional Gondala and Luge.
Optional Rotorua gondola that has stunning panoramic views and the chance to ride down on the Luge (like go-karts with no engine) – heaps of fun! See below for other choices.
In the evening, dip in the included geothermal mineral hot springs at Polynesian Spa. Check into accommodation. Your guide will introduce everyone to the group and run through everything you need to know to maximize your time in Rotorua. Dinner provided.

Day 2
Breakfast included. Depart accommodation.
Ealry visit to NZ’s largest geothermal boiling mud area, Wai-O-Tapu Wonderland, and see the extraordinary geyserland and thermal park, including colourful boiling mud and the Lady Knox Geyser.
Make our way to Taupo and visit the Huka Falls, where more than 220,000 litres of water barrel through the chasm every second. Explore the Huka Falls & take part in Taupos optional activities or enjoy the beautiful Taupo lakefront. Taupo has the largest crater lake in all of Australasia.
Feeling adventurous? Skydiving from 12,000 feet is a great option!
Lunch: Your choice from many great eating venues plus great views and shopping.

Day 3
Load bags and depart accommodation. Breakfast provided.
This is the final opportunity to engage in optional activities in Rotorua before departing for Mt Maunganui.
Travel to Mount Maunganui and enjoy the rugged surf beach or the calm waves of Pilot Bay. You can walk up the extinct Volcano Mauao that have 360degree views of the Bay of Plenty. Explore the beach towns eateries, boutiques and great walks.
After a great day at Mt Maunganui, we travel back to Auckland and arrive at the drop-off point at approximately 6:00pm.*
