Bay of Islands is located in the Northland and it gets its nickname “the winterless north” because of the 2000 hours of sunshine and warmth the region is drenched in each year. The area is also full of history:  The combination of warm weather, history, geographical diversity, and natural beauty makes the far north a must-see.
